The latest documentary from BLG reveals additional underlying reasons for their defeat against T1
Recently, Bilibili Gaming released a documentary chronicling the team’s journey in 2024. This is an annual activity for teams after the season ends. Last year, BLG came close to winning several major titles. In the clip, viewers also discovered an important detail that subtly indicates the deeper reasons behind BLG’s defeat to T1 in the 2024 Worlds finals.
According to the clip, the coach of BLG “motivated” the players: “This match is definitely not the end for us. But if we succeed, it will be a game that can be recorded in Esports history for all of us. Conversely, everyone must also prepare mentally for failure.”
At first glance, this may seem like mere encouragement. However, in the BLG lineup at the time, only Bin had ever participated in a finals match at a Worlds event. The other four players inadvertently faced the unnecessary pressure of the element known as “historic match.” In reality, ON made hasty decisions, while Knight was left stunned after being interrupted by Keria’s Teleport, helplessly witnessing his teammates being taken down.
