A Strong Composition Without Relying on “Luck”
When battling in Teamfight Tactics, the most frustrating feeling is building a composition that seems nearly perfect, only missing one champion to complete it, yet you can’t seem to find it after rolling multiple times. Everyone encounters this situation, including top-tier players, and there are compositions that rely on a 5-cost champion to trigger a 6-champion synergy or when needing a 3-star champion, making their use feel like a gamble on “luck.”

Therefore, top North American player/streamer KeaneLoL has discovered a composition with various building methods and many interchangeable champions centered around the sole carry, Kayle. This composition, named Kayle Chrono, operates on the extremely simple mechanism where the frontline tanks will buy time for Kayle to “sweep” the enemy team with massive damage.

Building the Composition
With Kayle as the fixed carry, you can play almost anything in the early game; the most important goal is to maintain health and accumulate enough gold to level up and roll for champions when necessary. Ideally, you should aim for 3 Cybernetic units early on, with small items shared across the entire composition, allowing you to secure a winning streak while not wasting items on future carries.

In the mid-game, the basic goals remain unchanged; you will develop your existing composition to level 6/7, reaching a power threshold that is stable enough to maintain health and save as much gold as possible. Remember that this is the strongest composition at level 9, so absolutely do not roll early; ideally, you should acquire Irelia or Kayle early on, or you can use the basic composition below.

By the time you reach level 9, you need to finalize your composition as quickly as possible to compete for a high rank, even aiming for the top position. At this stage, the frontline shield is vital, and the easiest to build are the Brawler units since you already have Vi and Blitzcrank from before; Shen is also a good choice to counter compositions based on basic attacks like Marksmen. If economic conditions allow, upgrading the two primary units to 3 stars is also a way to secure a top 1 position.

Appropriate Items
With your team’s frontline consisting of Brawlers protected by Shen’s skill, they do not need too many defensive items to hold up; if you have excess items, a Thornmail for Cho’Gath is already sufficient. Instead, you should funnel item resources into your backline carries, Kayle and Irelia; for Kayle, the two main items are still Guinsoo’s Rageblade and Infinity Edge, which are enough to “sweep” the entire enemy team.

With Irelia, things are more complex as Guardian Angel is always the most important item for this champion. Given her melee characteristics, having an extra life to continue dealing damage is crucial. After that, you can choose Infinity Edge to increase damage and an additional defensive item to ensure Irelia stays alive as long as possible.
