At the “Dut Village War” tournament, we were quite surprised by the appearance of a female team. These girls are the reigning champions of FSL Vietnam – V Gaming. They will also represent Vietnam at the FSL in Singapore – the League of Legends tournament for women in Southeast Asia. Hello V Gaming, can you introduce yourselves a bit?
Hello everyone, we are from V Gaming. Our team consists of 8 members: ItsMin (Top Lane), Thảo Xì Po (Jungle), Zumi (Jungle), Ping (Mid Lane), Sealka (ADC), Windra and Junn (Support). Our coach is Victory – the former captain of FTV League of Legends.
How did you find out about the “Dut Village War” tournament?
We stumbled upon information about this tournament while scrolling through Facebook. Currently, the FSL Singapore tournament has yet to take place and this is an opportunity for our team to practice and bond before heading to Singapore for competition. Moreover, we are also big fans of Dũng CT and Team Dut. Additionally, this tournament allows us to connect and make friends with others who share the same passion as us.
This tournament will have to face the fans of Team Dut with the goal of defeating the entire Dut team in the final match. How do you feel about that?
The fans of Team Dut are quite numerous, and we feel a bit of pressure. However, Team Dut is not an easy opponent at all because their skills are very good. We think that when they go live, Team Dut is just trying to be funny, but their actual skills are really impressive. Our team admires Team Dut and Dũng CT a lot, so I believe Riot should have invited them to compete in the World Championship (laughs).
How confident is your team about winning this tournament?
We are 100% confident, we are determined to take down Team Dut.
What message do you want to send to the tournament?
We think that we are all going through a long pandemic, which has affected work, study, and many unfinished plans. Our team has had more time to practice together before competing abroad. We hope that after this showmatch, we will have more friends who share the same passion and wish everyone good health!
