LGD Gaming is currently one of the highest-performing teams in the LPL Summer 2020, and this truly posed a significant challenge for Suning. Nevertheless, SofM and his teammates continued to showcase their remarkable growth by securing an impressive 2-0 victory.
Suning completely dominated the first game, and this was also the moment SofM once again proved his versatility in gameplay. Against LGD’s strong team composition featuring champions like Yuumi, Galio, and Volibear, Suning’s jungler opted for a rather unusual full tank build for Lee Sin.
This strategy proved to be effective, transforming the Blind Monk into Suning’s third shield, turning LGD—who had an advantage in resilience and team fighting—into a weaker position, as Lee Sin in SofM’s hands was both hard to take down and possessed strong mobility to disrupt the enemy formation. Meanwhile, on LGD’s side, Peanut’s Volibear was still actively participating, but the lack of mobility in this team composition revealed its weaknesses during team fight situations, leading to their defeat in game one.

Moving into game two, LGD made a slight swap by taking Lee Sin for Peanut, while SofM chose Trundle. LGD employed a strong jungle invasion strategy to stifle SofM’s power growth, and they successfully executed it.
Suning was forced to regroup defensively and lost many advantages. However, just when it seemed that the match would head to a third game, in a team fight at the dragon pit in the 27th minute, Angel shone brightly with a combo of Azir that knocked back three members of LGD, allowing the entire SN team to surge forward and easily wipe out the opponents.
From this point, the advantage shifted to Suning, who easily secured the Baron, transitioned into an offensive stance, and claimed the match with a 2-0 victory.

The victory against LGD marked the fifth win for SofM and his teammates in the LPL Summer 2020, temporarily elevating them to fifth place on the leaderboard. However, beyond the significance of the points, defeating LGD also indicated that SN had shown signs of overcoming their inherent weakness, which was their tendency to play poorly when behind.
Angel’s shining moment was the result of a series of slow-paced plays and maintaining a solid team formation, preventing LGD from snowballing the match and forcing them into a battlefield where SN was ready to ambush, ultimately leading to a well-deserved defeat for LGD.
