HLE Superstar Shines Bright After Impressive Winning Streak
On February 19, the winners’ bracket final of the playoffs between HLE and DK officially took place. With both teams performing at a very high level prior to this match, they delivered a thrilling full 5-game Bo5 series to the audience. HLE demonstrated their composure and sharpness during the crucial moments, defeating DK with a close score of 3-2.

This result makes HLE the first team to reach the finals of the LCK Cup 2025 playoffs. As for DK, they will need to seek another chance in the losers’ bracket final against one of two opponents, Gen.G or NS. Notably, before defeating DK, HLE had also taken down other major teams like T1 and Gen.G with the same score of 3-2. This impressive winning streak seems to have greatly boosted HLE’s confidence, and Zeka even made a bold statement in a recent interview.

“With our consecutive victories after 5 games, the team is very confident about winning the title. Our focus in games 4 and 5 (against DK) was extremely good, so we are very satisfied with that. In fact, HLE has practiced lane swap strategies a lot and is very confident in using it during matches. We are currently only at 70-80% of our maximum strength, and there is still much to improve in the future” – Zeka shared after the match.

HLE Is Charging Towards the LCK Cup 2025 Championship
Indeed, Zeka’s mentioned confidence is well-founded as HLE is currently performing at a level far superior to other LCK teams. The new factor named Zeus has quickly integrated into HLE, significantly improving the team’s fighting capabilities and early game performance. This makes HLE, already very strong, even more complete as they step into the 2025 season.

Furthermore, HLE’s main rivals are currently facing issues, which increases their chances of winning the LCK Cup 2025. For DK, the inexperience of young players like Siwoo and Lucid causes the team to easily fall into “throwing games” during critical moments. Gen.G is grappling with declining performance from Canyon, while T1 is entangled in drama regarding their AD carry position. Therefore, it would not be surprising if HLE continues to maintain their current high performance and clinch the LCK Cup 2025 title in the near future.
