The finals of the PUBG Mobile tournament, featuring 16 teams from 8 Southeast Asian countries, concluded with the championship awarded to the Vietnamese team.

Specifically, the Sea-Invitational tournament is an international online PUBG Mobile event organized by Team Razer, with participation from 10 countries across the Southeast Asian region. Vietnam was represented by two teams, V Gaming PUBG Mobile & Matrix United.

During the group stage week, both V Gaming and Matrix United demonstrated a consistent performance. However, PUBG has always been one of the survival genres where Thailand & Indonesia have solidified their positions in Southeast Asia. At the end of the group stage, Vietnam, with V Gaming, achieved a rank of 3rd out of 20, while Matrix placed 7th out of 20 – the Vietnamese teams finished 3rd out of 10 overall.

However, in the two days of the finals, the Vietnamese teams seemed to have completely transformed. V Gaming PUBG Mobile and Matrix United each secured 2 and 3 “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” victories, respectively. Competing with outstanding performance and maintaining a stable kill count, the two Vietnamese representatives outpaced major teams from Thailand and Indonesia to claim the championship title in this prestigious international tournament. In the end, Matrix United secured 1st place, while V Gaming took 2nd place. With a total score of 411, Vietnam raised its flag at the PUBG Mobile Sea-Invitational.

Although V Gaming PUBG Mobile only finished 5th in the first season of the PUBG Mobile Pro League, they have proven their strength on the international stage with a significant roster enhancement. What this team showcased at the Sea-Invitational will surely make their remaining opponents wary of V Gaming in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 2. Once again, congratulations to V Gaming and Matrix United for bringing glory to PUBG Mobile Vietnam.
