T1 Fans in Vietnam “Go Big” Making Even Gumayusi Stunned
These days can be said to be an extremely difficult period for Gumayusi. Not only was he removed from the T1 lineup for the recent LCK Cup 2025, but the 2002-born AD Carry of T1 is also caught up in drama due to the “going underground” handling from the higher-ups. However, T1 fans, especially Gumayusi’s fans, still sent him encouraging messages. Recently, the T1 fan club in Vietnam decided to “go big”: donating 5000 balloons during Gumayusi’s stream.

Specifically, the donation was recently made with the content: “Prince Gumayusi, the Vietnamese fans are here for you. Please take this money (the number of balloons donated) and buy food, eat well, we always support you.”
For those who may not know, the balloon packs on the streaming platform where T1 players operate have a value that converts to quite a bit in Vietnamese Dong. Among them, a pack of 500 balloons is equivalent to about 1,050,000 VND. Thus, with 5000 balloons, in just a moment, Vietnamese fans donated over 10 million VND to Gumayusi.

Gumayusi himself was also astonished by the “huge” donation. After thanking in Korean, the T1 AD Carry asked fans how to translate it into Vietnamese, which delighted many T1 fans. On various forums, many Korean viewers also expressed their gratitude to Vietnamese fans for supporting Gumayusi during this time.

Perhaps only by the Regular Seasons will T1 fans and Gumayusi escape the drama
From being an AD Carry who won 2 World Championships, now caught in the whirlwind of drama, no one is more shocked than Gumayusi himself. However, he still maintains a professional attitude, which makes many fans feel even more heartbroken.

However, if T1 continues to remain silent as it is now, the fans’ reactions may not mean much. And it is likely that only when T1 announces the lineup for the upcoming Regular Seasons will T1 fans and Gumayusi be able to see a clearer future after the chaos of late 2024 to early 2025.
