T1 Continues to Arrange Lineup That Leaves Fans “Speechless”
In recent days, even the die-hard fans of T1 may find it hard to accept that this team has been making a series of perplexing moves with the players being the main “victims”. However, recently, T1 has stirred up controversy once again. Specifically, in the roster information on T1’s website, they have placed Smash – the rookie recently promoted in LCK Cup 2025 – ahead of Gumayusi – the main ADC of the T1 lineup announced at the beginning of 2025.

This action can be described as extremely sensitive and illogical at this time. Everyone knows how important visual arrangement in a frame is, especially in sports and entertainment. The position in the frame reflects the role and influence of the character. Therefore, many T1 fans and the League of Legends community in general have been extremely upset and confused by T1’s actions.

Many T1 Fans Think of the Worst-Case Scenario
If Smash actually replaces Gumayusi in the upcoming Regular Seasons, the possibility of T1 facing many difficulties, even going home empty-handed, could happen. Based on the latest LCK Cup 2025, it can be seen that Smash is only truly strong when his teammates funnel resources to him. But even with Keria always by his side, he still cannot win his lane against Jiwoo or even Deokdam, not to mention Viper, Ruler, or internationally against Elk, JackeyLove, and Hans sama.

Moreover, the possibility of T1 qualifying for international tournaments will also be put into question. With the new format change, after only a few rounds, LCK will enter the stage of selecting teams for the MSI. Of course, the chance of T1 dropping out of the top 5 (to select teams for MSI) depends on the schedule. But no one can be sure that T1 will defeat Gen.G or HLE if they can regain their highest form and (possibly) no longer have Fearless Draft.
As we move into the final stage, this year’s LCK will no longer have regional qualifiers, and only 3 teams will qualify for the World Championship. In this case, the competition will be even higher, and no one can predict anything. But at this time, there are at least 3 teams in LCK that can completely defeat T1, including HLE, Gen.G, and DK.

But everyone will have to wait until April when T1 announces the lineup for the Regular Seasons. The only thing is, at this point, fans’ trust in this team is steadily declining and it is very difficult to recover.
