In traditional sports, football is known as the king of sports and always captures the community’s interest in every tournament. As for esports, Pro Evolution Soccer, also known as PES, is considered the “king” of Esports. Indeed, at the upcoming SEA Games 31, there is a high possibility that PES will also be present, and recently, V Gaming PES officially announced its all-star lineup.
When talking about PES, people will remember the “prodigy” 12-year-old Lê Hà Anh Tuấn, Tabi Tuấn Anh, Quang Barca, Tâm Figo,… Tâm Figo is one of the most accomplished players in the Vietnamese PES scene and is often referred to as the “Legend” of this genre. Besides Tâm Figo, V Gaming PES also has two other players who are equally “top-notch”: Dark Vegas and Nicolas.
Tâm Figo’s real name is Lê Đoàn Thanh Tâm; he has previously played for prestigious PES teams such as: Buriram United Esports, Chiangmai Esports, MSC Esports. He has won the Bronze Medal at the 2019 Asiad PES, the champion of PES Vietnam 2018, and the runner-up of PES Southeast Asia 2018. Notably, he was nominated for the We Choice Awards 2018 in the category: Inspirational Character.
Dark Vegas’s real name is Nguyễn Thanh Tùng. He has previously played for several PES teams in Thailand such as Nakhonratchasima Esports, PT Prachuap Esports, Ratchaburi Esports. He has also won the Silver Medal at the 2018 Asiad PES and has claimed victory in many domestic tournaments.
Nicolas’s real name is Quách Tuấn Đức; he and Dark Vegas have played for prominent PES teams in Thailand and are also close teammates. It can be said that Dark Vegas and Nicolas are two good friends in the Vietnamese PES scene as they share many achievements and compete together under the colors of several teams.
In a conversation with V Gaming PES, Rio – the manager of the team shared: “We came together because of our passion. It’s not just about sharing experiences and helping each other train, but most importantly, it’s about raising the Vietnamese flag high at the SEA Games 31 stage.”
With a roster full of experience and the presence of the legend Tâm Figo, we hope that V Gaming PES will soon raise the Vietnamese flag high on the international scene.
