Samira
An interesting fact is that during testing, Samira was nerfed many times from her damage to the number of shots per second of her ability. However, Samira remains an extremely powerful champion in Teamfight Tactics Season 4.5 with her resilience and incredible damage output. With the special effect from the Risk-Taker trait, Samira will dash, create shields, and deal continuous damage to multiple opponents. In fact, Samira’s ability even grants this unit a 100% evasion rate while using her skill.

This allows Samira to survive for a long time in fights and deal massive damage solely with her ability. Remember that Samira’s most powerful strengths (abilities and the Risk-Taker trait) are not related to the Marksman or Butcher system. Therefore, players can easily add Samira to any team composition if they feel they lack damage. The most suitable items for Samira are Giant Slayer, Infinity Edge, and Guardian Angel.
Xayah
This unit seems to be highly favored by the current Teamfight Tactics meta as compositions revolving around the Forest God trait are proving to be extremely strong. With the additional shields from the Protector system of Xayah – Rakan, the Forest God trait can survive longer to accumulate armor/magic resistance. Moreover, Xayah’s introduction has addressed the weakness of lacking a damage-dealing carry unit in the Forest God trait during the first half of Season 4.

Regarding itemization for Xayah, Infinity Edge is a crucial item for this unit. A small tip in positioning Xayah is to keep this unit in the second row, right behind the tank. The range of damage from the Storm Rising ability is relatively short, so Xayah needs to stand higher than conventional carries to maximize her damage output.

Olaf
Olaf’s ability to “carry the team” in Season 4.5 cannot be underestimated as his Ragnarok ability provides both attack speed and area damage effects for this champion. In fact, Olaf cannot be controlled while using his ability. The downside of Olaf compared to the two names above is that this champion can only deal damage through basic attacks. Additionally, if he does not have sufficient lifesteal, Olaf can be easily taken down by Mage compositions.

Therefore, the advice is for players to only use Olaf in a Butcher composition. The reason is that this system provides Olaf with both damage and lifesteal, which the Dragon trait lacks. It also compensates for the weakness of needing to build multiple items to increase attack speed, Olaf’s damage. When placed in a sufficiently strong Butcher composition, Olaf can carry the entire team to victory with his tremendous damage output.
