Kayle – The Reaper
With Kayle using the Rapid Firecannon as her main item, this champion usually stands in the farthest position in the formation. This makes Kayle an easy target for Aurelion Sol and often results in her being wiped out. Although she possesses the Mystic trait, Kayle’s low health makes it difficult for her to survive after two casts from Aurelion Sol. However, after the Mage unit was nerfed in patch 11.2b of Teamfight Tactics, compositions revolving around Kayle – The Reaper have become extremely strong.

With high damage output, extremely fast attack speed, and true damage from the Divine trait, Kayle can eliminate any enemy in front of her. If you are lucky enough to have the Chosen Reaper, Kayle’s power can become even more dominant. Perhaps Kayle in season 4.5 only fears Aurelion Sol, so players should prioritize building magic resistance items for Kayle. If you have a Doll, you should place that unit in a corner separate from Kayle to “bait” Aurelion Sol’s ability.

Fighters
Although Riot increased the AD for the Fighter trait, these units still often find themselves lacking damage in mid-game. Without a sufficiently strong Shyvana, the Fighter team struggles to eliminate the front line of a strong defensive composition like Forest Gods. At that point, your Fighter line will be easily taken down by Xayah or Aurelion Sol, no matter how much health they have.

When the Forest Gods and Aurelion Sol compositions were nerfed in patch 11.2b, the Fighter team naturally became stronger than before. For players wanting to use a Fighter composition, the advice is to try to acquire as many Wooden Bows as possible. This is because the strongest carry of the Fighter trait – Shyvana, is a champion that really needs the Rapid Firecannon and Guinsoo’s Rageblade to deal effective damage.

Warriors
With the use of two main carries, Samira and Katarina, the Warrior composition seems to struggle against team comps that revolve around Aurelion Sol. These two champions are not afraid of “tanky” teams or physical carries; they only fear Aurelion Sol’s overwhelming burst damage. The 100% dodge chance from Samira’s Inferno Bullets seems to mean nothing against Aurelion Sol.

After that dragon god was nerfed, the Warrior composition will have a chance to shine, as the carries of this team comp are no longer heavily countered. A useful tip from high-rank players is to add Lee Sin to the Warrior composition when you reach level 8-9. Lee Sin will help the Warrior team deal with high-health targets that Samira or Katarina cannot quickly eliminate.
