Warlord
There’s a notable statistic that the 6 Warlord team composition only has an average rank of 5.12. This number is only better than the “fun” faction, Fortune. Even with a very strong mid-game carry like Shyvana, Warlords still depend too much on Chosen. Besides the additional stats from the Chosen system, Warlords need to reach 8 champions to be tanky enough to survive fights in the late game.

Essentially, from level 8 onward, champions like Olaf, Kayle, or Aurelion Sol already have sufficient items and deal tremendous damage. At that point, the additional 1000 health from the 6 Warlord threshold is not enough for your carry to survive. As the game progresses toward the late stage, the value of units like Maokai, Tahm Kench, and Vi will drop significantly. Without Chosen to provide sufficient durability, they merely become “bait” for opponents to attack.
Wizard
Although there’s a new strong carry in Aurelion Sol, the Wizard faction still relies heavily on having Chosen champions to secure victories. If you have Chosen, you can afford to drop a weak link in your formation to add in a tank. In the absence of Chosen Wizards, you are forced to use 1-cost units like Brand and Twisted Fate until the late game. They only serve to fill out the team composition and do not provide significant damage.

Furthermore, the main carry of the Wizard team – Aurelion Sol – is facing fierce competition in the current meta. Long Tribe compositions are quite popular as they can deal good damage from the early to mid-game. This inadvertently reduces the chances of players owning a 2-star Aurelion Sol. The advice for gamers is that if you don’t have Chosen, you should not try to build a Wizard composition right now.

Rageborn
In recent patches, the Rageborn faction has been continuously buffed by Riot Games and holds a strong position in the meta of Teamfight Tactics. However, the way Riot buffs this faction is by enhancing Galio’s power at the 9-champion threshold. Thus, this composition only truly shines when players possess Chosen Rageborn champions. Otherwise, at the 6-champion threshold, the Rageborn team proves to be extremely weak as Galio can be easily taken down while the damage from other units is insufficient.

Remember that in the first half of Season 4, we still had Soul units that could buff the skill damage for the whole team. Therefore, players could stop at 6 Rageborn without worrying about lacking damage. However, when we moved to Season 4.5 and the Soul faction was removed, players could no longer “borrow power” like that. So if you do not have Chosen Rageborn, it is best to skip this composition altogether.
