With the adjustment to the roll rate in patch 11.11, Riot Games has opened up opportunities for many reroll team compositions to dominate the meta. Among them, the Brawler – Dragon Clan team featuring Sett as the main carry has shown to be the most powerful and stable, balancing damage and durability. In fact, player DQA TFT even used this composition to climb to the top 8 in Challenger on the North American server. So what are DQA TFT’s secrets for using Sett “One Punch Man”? Let’s find out.

According to DQA TFT’s sharing, leveling up early is extremely important when playing the Brawler – Dragon Clan composition. This will help you increase the chances of obtaining key units such as Sett, Ashe, or Zyra to possess dragon eggs as quickly as possible. This is even more crucial than maintaining gold and achieving significant interest thresholds.
For example, before the end of round 1-3, you should buy experience points so that when you reach round 2-1, you are already at level 4. This will give you the opportunity to purchase Zyra and Ashe very early on. If you cannot acquire Dragon Clan units, you can also get Nunu & Willump to activate the 4 Brawler effect. You should do something similar before the second shared selection round occurs.

Furthermore, to maximize Sett’s damage, you must continuously observe and adjust the position of this unit. You need to place Sett on the same side as the opponent’s carries to deal damage as effectively as possible. The large amount of damage that Sett possesses will be meaningless if you let this piece attack a unit like Rell without an opponent right behind. Therefore, constantly changing Sett’s position is extremely important.

Regarding item builds, we are surely already familiar with the combination of Infinity Edge and Bloodthirster. However, not every match will provide you with enough items to combine all of the strongest gear for Sett. What Teamfight Tactics players should do is adapt their item combinations to fit the actual state of the match.
According to DQA TFT, Giant Slayer is an excellent item if you are facing other Brawler players or Zombie compositions. Meanwhile, Bloodthirster can be replaced with the Rageblade if you do not have many B.F. Swords. With his area damage skill, Sett can maintain the buff from the Rageblade very well. Items like Death’s Dance or Titan’s Resolve also help Sett deal damage very effectively.

The final advice for players is that Sett is not the only win condition for this composition. Essentially, Sett will play the role of the main carry in the mid-game and help players maintain as much health and gold as possible. From there, you can level up quickly and have enough gold to buy 5-cost units like Volibear or Heimerdinger.

If you notice many players aiming to roll for a 3-star Sett, learn to be content with the 2-star unit you currently have. Save gold and level up as quickly as possible, using the strong units mentioned above to find ways to secure victory. This is a much more effective winning strategy than constantly rolling at level 6 without being able to upgrade Sett to 3 stars.
