In the current version 11.14, powerful traits and classes in the late game such as Celestial, Requiem, and Divine still dominate Teamfight Tactics. Meanwhile, the Demon composition, despite receiving a slight buff from Riot, has yet to rise to the position of the strongest team-comp. However, this is not necessarily a disadvantage for the Demon team as players will rarely have to compete for key units. In fact, in the case of a player nicknamed mimivirus, he climbed to Challenger solely using a Demon team.

According to mimivirus’s insights, the mindset when playing the Demon team is quite simple: you need to reach the 5-unit threshold as early as possible. Therefore, buying all the Demon units at the beginning of the game such as Ziggs, Kled, Kennen, and Poppy is crucial. Additionally, you should only level up to 6 after upgrading Kled to 3 stars. Furthermore, players should look to add defensive capabilities such as Knight or Cavalry at levels 4 or 6.

With the Demon effect increasing attack speed significantly, essential items like Statikk Shiv and Blue Bow also lean towards attack, making the team-comp already have enough damage. Thus, defensive capabilities from the Knight or Cavalry class will help the Demon units hold their ground in battles and deal damage more effectively. Adding a class that boosts attack such as Sorcerer is unnecessary for this composition.
Typically, players using the Demon team will choose Ziggs as the main carry in the early game with items like Statikk Shiv and Evil Statikk Shiv. However, mimivirus advises against upgrading this unit to 3 stars during the rolling phase as Ziggs tends to underperform in the later stages. You should sell Ziggs in the late game and transfer the Statikk Shivs (both regular and Evil) to Teemo and Lulu.

Meanwhile, Kled is the key unit you should “invest heavily” in while rolling. To maximize this unit’s damage output, you should combine it with Runaan’s Hurricane (both regular and Evil) and Blue Bow. To enhance its defensive capabilities, Bloodthirster is the most reasonable item. Additionally, Hand of Justice is also a solid choice for Kled.

In the late game, what you should aim for is to enhance defensive capabilities, especially traits and classes that buff stats for the entire team. Champions like Rell, Nautilus, and Ryze are ones you should purchase in the late game. As mentioned earlier, the Demon effect and the items players build when playing inherently lean towards strong attacks. Therefore, supplementing defensive stats in the late game will help the Demon units survive better in the current meta.
