Players are determined to take home the prize pool of up to 2 billion VND

This year, the gaming community was taken by surprise by the generous prize pool of VCS Spring 2022. This top professional tournament has broken its own record, spending a whopping 1.2 billion VND for 8 main prizes and 480 million VND for side prizes, thanks to support from the global oil brand Castrol POWER1. Last year, the Spring Arena of Fame 2021 also had a total prize pool of 3 billion VND by securing the sponsorship of the “super sponsor” Castrol POWER1.

The prize pool of up to 2 billion VND in VCS Spring 2022 has captivated players, as this is a significant income that adds motivation to sustain and develop each team. From the start of the season to the past 6 weeks, from marksmen to junglers, everyone is determined to take home the side prizes for both individual and team achievements. Each week, the organizers award 1 Castrol POWER1 Team prize for the best team; and 3 TOP POWER1 prizes for the player with the most outstanding pentakill.

VCS Spring 2022 has also witnessed one of the most explosive seasons ever, delivering top-notch performances for fans. GAM Esports is the name dominating the tournament with an unbeaten record of 14 matches, continuously claiming the Castrol POWER1 Team title for several weeks. Saigon Buffalo and Team Secret have each won 9 consecutive matches in the group stage, also snatching weekly prizes from their opponents on multiple occasions.

Reach the peak of glory, achieve incredible feats, and immediately win 700 million VND from Castrol POWER1

VCS Spring 2022 currently has only 2 matches left, with 3 teams remaining: GAM Esports, Saigon Buffalo, and Team Secret competing for the top three spots. The runner-up will receive 200 million VND in cash; the third place will get 150 million VND plus gifts from the sponsor.

However, the prize of nearly 700 million VND for the champion is the truly alluring figure for the teams in the final. Accordingly, the winning team will pocket 400 million VND from the main prize and 100 million VND from the Castrol POWER1 Team prize upon reaching the peak of glory, along with the Castrol Cup and 10 sets of 6 Castrol POWER1 Ultimate products for use over a year. The best-performing player of the champion team will win the Castrol POWER1 MVP and also receive a massive cash prize along with gifts worth 120 million VND.

Faced with the scale of the prize, the legendary jungler BeanJ (SG Buffalo) aims to secure the Castrol POWER1 MVP for himself while also bringing home the Castrol POWER1 Team victory for the whole team. In addition to the substantial cash prize, BeanJ expressed excitement about the 10 sets of Castrol POWER1 Ultimate products for a whole year, as this is the oil brand he has been using for a long time, helping his vehicle achieve peak performance even on long trips with teammates.

Meanwhile, Kiaya (GAM), with impressive team fighting skills, is ambitious to snatch the TOP POWER1 trophy, further extending his list of outstanding achievements. The TOP POWER1 is a brand new award compared to previous VCS seasons, aimed at honoring individuals who engage in fierce battles and demonstrate exceptional strength.

With Castrol POWER1 by their side, VCS Spring 2022 is like a “tiger with wings,” expanding both its scale and adding many new prize categories. These awards inspire players to fight to their utmost, seizing every opportunity to achieve incredible feats in each match; while also providing enduring energy for them to train hard and maintain their performance on the next journeys, propelling Vietnam further on the international esports map.

Kiaya (GAM) and BeanJ (Saigon Buffalo) are united in calling on fans to “not miss out” on the side activities of the tournament to gain more awesome experiences and win attractive prizes.
