The anti-fans of Gumayusi are becoming more rampant
As known, since the drama surrounding T1 and Gumayusi exploded, a group called “T1Gall” has come to light. This group, according to many sources from the LCK community, is an extreme fan group of Faker and is ready to attack anyone except Faker. Their targeting of Gumayusi stems from various reasons, mostly because T1 once intended to build Gumayusi as the visual of the team once Faker retires. Over time, the attacks by this extremist group have become increasingly outrageous, and recently they even intended to threaten the life of the T1 player.
Specifically, on the forum of the T1Gall group, a post appeared with the content “Want to cause a traffic accident to knock out player Gumayusi.” This post immediately spread outside and caused outrage among the LCK fan community, especially T1 fans. Previously, there were reports that T1Gall even planned to use acid against Gumayusi, but no evidence was provided.
The plan from the T1Gall group was proposed because Gumayusi has a habit of jogging every morning. According to T1’s ADC, on non-game days, he regularly exercises. The time Gumayusi spent on the bench from the LCK Cup to the 2025 Regular Seasons has helped him noticeably lose weight. Because of this habit, the extremist anti-fans have plotted to attack Gumayusi.
T1 has yet to show any signs of protecting Gumayusi as expected
In reality, the fact that T1Gall can act rampantly is partly due to T1 not taking any action to warn this anti-fan group since the Gumayusi incident erupted. Even when those who are unrelated or speak up to defend Gumayusi, like Viper and Bang, are dragged into the story, no side has addressed it, and this inaction has frustrated T1 fans and the League of Legends community.
Moreover, what the players do is a sport, and if any actions threaten the lives of the players, the consequences will be significant, and T1 will have to bear the greatest responsibility for not protecting its members.
