In Teamfight Tactics Season 7.5, we’ve seen the emergence of many strong independent champions that don’t rely on trait-system effects. Specifically, Graves and Nilah are two exemplary representatives with outstanding skills and effects.

Players are gradually discovering that these champions can synergize incredibly well with the Off-Meta core to create a very powerful composition. So how can we build this composition effectively? Let’s find out.

One mandatory condition for this composition is that you possess the Off-Meta core, regardless of whether you are in Silver or Diamond rank. If you can acquire this core early in the game, you can utilize strong independent champions like Wukong, Senna, and Qiyana to maintain health and secure winning streaks.

As you progress to the mid-game, your goal remains to maintain a winning streak with strong independent units. Yone is a core champion you should build, and Aphelios is also a solid mid-game option. For the frontline, Braum is undoubtedly an essential piece due to his excellent tanking ability, and you can also add Jax if conditions allow.

After reaching level 8, you should transition your composition to strong 4-cost champions like Graves and Nilah as your carries. For the frontline, Hecarim is a good choice due to his significant crowd control ability. If you need additional crowd control, Zyra is a cost-effective option that also ensures the Off-Meta core’s trait does not activate.

Regarding the tech core, alongside the Off-Meta core, you should select the Perfect Pair to gain as many stats as possible for your tank or carry champions. Having 2 Hecarim, 2 Graves, or 2 Nilah on the board will grant them substantial power from these cores. Additionally, upgrading Loots also fits well with this composition.

For item choices, Graves needs items like Giant Slayer and Bow of Green. Besides enhancing his damage, the armor reduction effect from the Bow of Green also greatly benefits other carries, specifically Nilah. In Nilah’s case, Infinity Edge and Giant Slayer are the most essential items.

Conclusion

Essentially, the Off-Meta Composition of Season 7.5 will maximize the power of strong independent champions like Nilah and Graves at the end of the game. If you’re looking for a new playstyle to climb ranks or simply want to experiment with the Off-Meta core, this composition is a very strong choice in Season 7.5.
