In the world of esports, prominent figures include Faker, BeryL…, and closer to the Vietnamese gaming community, we have SofM.
It can be said that SofM is truly a very talented player, not only within the League of Legends community but also in the Vietnamese gaming scene. While competing in the LPL, SofM was the only Vietnamese player whom fans here compared to legends like Uzi, TheShy, or Faker. Additionally, SofM is considered one of the key figures who significantly changed the gameplay of junglers in the LPL specifically and the League of Legends community in general. In fact, many current superstars have learned from SofM, including Kanavi, Karsa, Tian, and Canyon.
Not only in League of Legends, but with a naturally gifted player like SofM, he excels in any game he plays. Recently, SofM participated “just for fun” in an international tournament for Naraka: Bladepoint and achieved high rankings (2nd place for one week and 1st place for another week). In fact, he was even invited by the game’s publisher to attend the launch anniversary celebration. And on the night of July 25th, SofM just achieved the Challenger rank in Teamfight Tactics – one of the most exciting game modes from Riot for the League of Legends community.
Even SofM’s own fans couldn’t believe their eyes. One fan even speculated that he had… edited the photo to achieve the aforementioned results. However, many viewers acknowledged that this is indeed SofM’s real achievement as he live-streamed his ranking journey. In fact, when asked, SofM admitted that if he had the time, he could think about reaching the number 1 spot in TFT.
SofM has proven himself worthy of the title “King of Games” that the League of Legends community affectionately bestows upon him. Many viewers also hope that with his “golden touch,” SofM will succeed in his role as the coach of the Vietnamese League of Legends team at the upcoming ASIAD and bring glory to Vietnamese esports.
