Zeri – Marksman
In patch 13.14 of Teamfight Tactics, Zeri received a significant power boost, bringing her back into the ranks of strong carry units. Specifically, her base damage and the duration of her skill’s splash damage effect have been greatly increased. Therefore, players can confidently use Zeri to rank up.
Regarding team composition, Zeri currently has two main directions. The first is a basic gameplay style with 4 Marksmen and 4 Zaun to optimize her damage output. The next strategy is to use only 2 Marksmen (Zeri and Jinx) and combine them with Freljord champions. This approach will provide players with better durability thanks to Sejuani’s presence.
Sniper
Although Akshan has been nerfed in patch 13.14b, Sniper remains a playstyle favored by many experts. Essentially, the effect of Sniper proves to be very powerful, allowing players to quickly eliminate enemy backline champions. This gives players a significant advantage in each round of combat.
In the current patch, Teamfight Tactics players can focus on upgrading Akshan to 3 stars or reaching 4 Snipers, both of which are good options. If using a 3-star Akshan, durable Shurima units like Nasus and K’Sante should be included in the composition.
Noxus
It’s no exaggeration to say that Noxus is one of the biggest counters to the two aforementioned compositions. With Katarina’s high damage output, the Noxus composition can quickly eliminate the enemy’s backline. Moreover, Darius’s damage and durability should not be underestimated, as he can help players take down multiple units consecutively.
However, the Noxus composition essentially relies on upgrading many champions to 3 stars (reroll). Therefore, players should only aim for this composition if they can purchase multiple Darius and Katarina early on or possess suitable Augments from the Tech Tree. Additionally, players should also seek upgrades that provide Noxus Emblems and give them to suitable champions like Zed and Azir to ensure strength.

With the strength validated by experts, compositions like Zeri – Marksman, Sniper, and Noxus are proving to be extremely effective for rank climbing. If Teamfight Tactics players need to rank up quickly, the aforementioned compositions are very suitable options.
