As has been reported, in recent days, along with the developments in Esports in general and League of Legends in particular at ASIAD, fans of VCS have also been following the developments surrounding the drama of Zeros. As mentioned, there have been several reports accusing Zeros of using “actors” to manipulate the outcomes of his ranked matches on the Korean server, aiming to profit from players participating in his content on livestream.

Zeros himself has also spoken out about the incident recently in a statement on his personal fan group. He asserted that the games were merely a content creation method. Additionally, Zeros emphasized that he has not engaged in using “actors” as some reports have accused, while explaining that he only pays players late. Of course, with the information from Zeros, his fans have also lost much trust after the numerous dramas, most of which were self-inflicted by the former SE star.

In a new development on the evening of September 26, South Korean media reported that a male streamer in the region has accused Zeros of using actors. Specifically, this individual reported the incident from about a month ago, around late August 2023. According to the information provided by the male streamer, there are indeed “actors” involved in manipulating the outcomes for certain fees (ranging from 45,000 won to 90,000 won, equivalent to over 800,000 VND to more than 1.6 million VND). This person also publicly revealed some accounts suspected to belong to Zeros.

Additionally, on the same day, the community raised suspicions that the match-fixing drama involves a former SBTC Esports player. However, the evidence presented has not been very clear. This former star of SE also stated that he is completely unrelated to the rumors circulating within the VCS community.

Of course, the information mentioned above currently only comes from one side, and Zeros has yet to make a statement regarding the new developments. The drama continues to attract the attention of the VCS community. If the story reaches Riot, it could very well escalate further. Especially since the publisher has been extremely strict in preventing cheating in League of Legends or the use of Korean ranked accounts without Riot’s permission.
