However, one clear fact about Gen.G is that they have an extremely strong top lane and a bottom lane that can play on their own. At least when Lehends moves with Canyon, Peyz knows how to maintain a safe position. But most importantly, the presence of Canyon is considered by both Gen.G and T1 fans to be the biggest change for the reigning champions, helping them defeat T1: “Canyon’s presence is indeed monumental. Indeed, in the match between Gen.G and T1, it was easy to see in all three games that Canyon moved relentlessly. In games 2 and 3, he frequently moved with Lehends to ensure Chovy received maximum resources while Faker had no time to look at other lanes.
T1 is probably already familiar with Canyon’s playstyle. However, with the map having many changes, this team has not really adapted yet. Additionally, as Gen.G grew more confident and extended their lead, the fact that T1 could drag the game on for over 40 minutes showed that they were ready to punish any small mistakes from Gen.G and forced the reigning LCK champions to sweat despite having a significant lead.
Canyon has brought a fresh breeze and, along with his teammates, secured an important victory on the opening day of LCK Spring 2024. Coming up, fans will likely be waiting to see if Canyon continues to perform well when facing off against Dplus KIA, with his close former teammate ShowMaker, who knows the mobile playstyle of the 2001-born player all too well.
