The Power of Reworked Kayle
In patch 14.2, Kayle has been reworked with a passive that deals additional magic damage on hit. Additionally, her activated ability now deals area magic damage and applies a magic resistance reduction effect. In exchange, Kayle’s maximum energy has been increased to 120.

This change allows Kayle to become a very strong carry due to her ability to scale well with attack speed. Moreover, this champion also has a considerable area damage capability to eliminate opponents. Even among the TFT masters in the LPL region, Kayle is referred to as the “Reroll Queen” in this new patch thanks to her “insane” damage output.
Building the Penta-Kayle Comp
In the early game, players should start with 2 Guardians to ensure frontline durability. For the carry position, Annie or Jinx Star Guardian are good choices as they provide decent damage output early on. Furthermore, these units utilize Guinsoo’s Rageblade very effectively, making them perfect for equipping Kayle.

By level 6, players should sell the current Star Guardian and reroll to find and upgrade Kayle. A small note is that players should not be “picky” about the Star Guardian traits for this character. Both Pentakill and Blessed Star Guardian forms of Kayle hold equal value. In fact, players can also utilize Star Guardian units to create a strong shield.

After upgrading Kayle, players should push to level 8 to complete the composition with high-quality 4-5 cost champions. If you have the Pentakill Star Guardian, it’s advisable to add Karthus or Yorick to reach 5 champions. In the case of using the Blessed Star Guardian, players should combine with Viego and other strong tanks to optimize damage output.

Items and Augments
According to expert opinions, Kayle’s “core” item build in patch 14.2 will consist of 2 Guinsoo’s Rageblade and a Hextech Gunblade. Defensive items should be reserved for Mordekaiser to effectively protect Kayle. As for Augments, upgrading Metal Fingers is a very strong choice for this composition. Additionally, upgrades that provide multiple items such as Blessing of the Buddha and Divine Forge… are also very suitable for a composition with many carries like Pentakill.
