One of the playstyles that many TFT players favor is focusing on damage-dealing champions with a fast attack speed. These champions, while fragile, often possess mobile skills and good attack capabilities. By supplementing with some quality frontliners, they can achieve victory even when facing strong compositions like Reaper – Celestial or Mystic. One of the compositions that players are currently favoring for its balanced offense and defense, along with an extremely fast attack speed, is the Duelist – Celestial featuring Tristana as the main carry.

Overview and Operation
The characteristic of this composition is its strength throughout the match, but players will have to go through a slightly challenging early phase if they do not get Tristana early or have the essential “signature” items for this champion soon. Another weakness is that champions like Qiyana, Tristana, and Volibear initially will be quite fragile, and their ability to eliminate a target early is not very high. Therefore, players will need to prioritize good tanky champions (Neeko, Darius) to smoothly navigate the early game.

Traits
The best traits for this composition include Natural Evolution and Rapid Fire Bow. Additionally, traits that increase attack speed for the entire team or champions with health-increasing items will be useful to prevent carries from being quickly taken down by burst damage. Since most champions in the Duelist group have attack power, traits that provide additional true damage or attack power should also be selected.

Building the Composition
From the early stage, players can have at least 2 Celestial – 2 Duelist with the combo Darius – Qiyana – Malphite – Yasuo. If Neeko or Tristana appears early, they should be added to the composition right away to gain an early advantage. If too much health is lost in the early phase, it will be hard to recover since the Duelist composition does not provide returns for losses.

In the mid-game, players can focus on tank items for Neeko, the Giant Slayer (if available) for Volibear, and the best damage items for Tristana (Giant Slayer – Bloodthirster – Blue Bow/Infinity Edge/Death’s Blade). Additionally, players should aim to reach the highest rank for Duelist and add Diana to trigger the Dragonborn trait towards the end of the game, enhancing survivability.

By the end of the match, players need to complete the composition with Lee Sin and Irelia. If there are excess Duelist champions on the board but too few frontline champions, consider replacing Darius with Wukong (Celestial) or Janna (Dragonborn). Additionally, Malphite can be swapped with Soraka to enhance the team’s healing capabilities.
The most complete composition at level 9: Neeko – Diana – Volibear – Yasuo – Tristana – Qiyana – Lee Sin – Irelia – Soraka.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The strength of this composition lies in its balanced offense and defense, as well as diverse sources of damage. Even Volibear can become a quality carry, while Tristana and Irelia can attack the backline of opponents. However, this composition is relatively fragile and requires many items – posing a challenge for players who want to build the strongest team possible.
