Advantages of the Honey Bee lineup in TFT Season 12

In TFT Season 12, the Honey Bee trait seems to be designed by Riot Games for a reroll playstyle as all champions are low-cost (1-3 gold). Moreover, in patch 14.16, Riot Games nerfed the healing ability of Dragon Claw, opening up opportunities for magic damage compositions to rise. Among them, the Honey Bee lineup with Veigar as the core also benefits significantly as this unit will have a much easier time taking down opponents.

Not stopping there, the fact that a series of 2-cost champions like Nilah, Akali, Ahri… are being purchased in large quantities has indirectly helped other 2-cost units appear more frequently. With the Honey Bee lineup, players will have a higher chance of acquiring Nunu and Kog’Maw. This helps players save a significant amount of gold during the reroll process in stages 6-7 and have enough resources to aim for level 8 and finalize their lineup.

Building the Veigar – Honey Bee lineup in TFT Season 12

Besides the usual Honey Bee units like Nunu and Blitzcrank, players should also acquire Galio early in the game. This unit can help players activate the 3 Sorcerers trait early and ensure stable damage output for the lineup. Additionally, Seraphine is also a unit worth purchasing at this stage as it holds items for Veigar very well.

By level 6, players should reroll a bit to upgrade key 2-cost units like Nunu and Galio to 2 stars. After that, players should aim for level 7 to optimize the chance of acquiring Veigar and upgrade this unit to 3 stars as quickly as possible. If lucky enough, players can also consider using Vex and upgrading this unit to 3 stars.

After completing the upgrade of Veigar to 3 stars, players can aim for level 8 and add powerful Sorcerer units. Among them, Nami and Norra are the top priorities as they provide crowd control and significantly increase Veigar’s damage. If players can reach level 9, Xerath will be a good choice to supplement damage for the lineup.

Tips for building the Veigar – Honey Bee lineup

Given Veigar’s power scaling based on the number of Spells purchased, players should not hesitate to invest gold if they find strong Spells in the shop. Additionally, the Technology Augments providing Sorcerer Emblems are very suitable for this lineup as they help players achieve the 5-unit threshold as quickly as possible. Players should also craft the Ionic Spark in the mid-game to maximize damage from Veigar.
