3 Team Compositions Recommended by TFT Masters in Patch 13.8

(Tổ Quốc) - The following team compositions will help players quickly climb ranks in the new version of Teamfight Tactics.

Star Guardian

Although not directly buffed, the Star Guardian composition has become significantly stronger in the recent 13.8 patch of Teamfight Tactics. This is largely due to a series of powerful Hacker team compositions being nerfed at the start of the game, allowing Star Guardians more opportunities to complete their lineup.

Furthermore, Riot Games’ buff to Lux has made the early game for Star Guardians much less challenging. Once reaching the late game with 6 champions, the Star Guardian composition will have enormous energy regeneration capabilities and can unleash abilities continuously. This is a very strong composition recommended by many masters in the new patch.

Kai’Sa and Its Variants

In patch 13.8, Riot Games slightly reduced Kai’Sa’s skill damage stats. However, this seems to have little impact as TFT masters in China still regard Kai’Sa as an extremely powerful champion. Perhaps the previous buffs to the Quickdraw class were too significant, rendering the changes in patch 13.8 relatively minor.

The advice from TFT masters is that players should not be greedy by using 4 Quickdraw units. Lucian has had his early game damage significantly reduced, making him less of a strong carry. Instead, the 4 Guardian units with Shen, Garen, Rell, and Riven provide a much better assurance for Kai’Sa to deal damage comfortably.

Laser Corps – Warwick

After a period of absence, the Laser Corps class seems set to make a comeback in the upcoming patch 13.8. This composition inherently has decent strength, but the fierce competition for Hackers has indirectly led to both Warwick and Laser Corps being underutilized. The nerf to Hackers will likely eliminate this issue.

With good health retention and relative strength in the late game, Laser Corps is recommended by many masters in North America. This type of composition allows for steady scoring due to an extremely high top 4 placement rate. However, players need to have good late-game situational handling skills if they wish to achieve victory with Laser Corps.

Conclusion

Following a series of changes in patch 13.8, compositions such as Star Guardian and Laser Corps, revolving around Kai’Sa, are proving to be quite powerful. This promises to be an extremely effective ranking strategy that Teamfight Tactics players should adopt.
