While Yuumi the cat is one of the most “laid-back” champions with a monotonous playstyle, she is just as annoying and disliked as Teemo. However, Heartseeker Yuumi’s skin is different. Among the Valentine’s Day skins released by Riot, Heartseeker Yuumi is one of the most beloved names among gamers.
Released alongside Jinx’s Love Struck skin on Valentine’s Day 2020, Heartseeker Yuumi is considered to fit the theme better than Jinx, with her cute expressions and abilities designed far more adorably than the champion from Zaun. Moreover, Yuumi’s charming demeanor in this skin also wins the hearts of female gamers – those who often play League of Legends in the Support role and prefer Yuumi because she is simply “easy to play and rewarding.”
When Demacia’s Wings shed their armor and don vibrant, sexy outfits that scream Valentine’s Day, she can enchant any male player, rivaling the “beauty icons” of Runeterra like Ahri and Miss Fortune… For a champion like Quinn, who rarely escapes the image of a female warrior, the Heartseeker skin not only looks beautiful but also brings a refreshing change to her character in the eyes of the League of Legends community.
It’s unfortunate for Quinn that at this point, she has become heavily out of the meta and nearly disappeared completely, both in ranked play and in the professional scene. While she still appears in Teamfight Tactics, the skin chosen is Pirate Quinn. Therefore, the League of Legends community is eagerly hoping that Riot will have plans to rework Demacia’s Wings so that she, along with her skins that embody both coolness and allure, can return to Summoner’s Rift.
Xayah and Rakan Sweethearts
It would be a mistake to only list skins of individual champions on Valentine’s Day. However, clearly, during this occasion and when mentioning the top couples in League of Legends, one cannot forget the duo Xayah – Rakan and their Sweetheart skins. While more famous couples like Garen – Katarina are just at the “teasing” level or Lucian – Senna only reunite much later, Xayah and Rakan have been a couple from the very beginning. Gone is the usual gloom of Vengeance’s Arrow; Heartseeker Varus presents an image as beautiful as Greek gods, with heart-shaped arrows and angelic wings spreading love to all.
However, perhaps because it is too vibrant and only suitable for Valentine’s events, this skin of Varus is generally less used in professional matches. But in any case, among all the skins released during Valentine’s Day, Heartseeker Varus remains the most favored, though this may just be an opinion from the ladies.
