Kayle – Blade Master
The fact is that Kayle possesses an incredibly strong champion quality and deals tremendous damage without needing to activate any traits or origins. What Kayle needs the most are core items like Rapid Firecannon and Guinsoo’s Rageblade. Therefore, compositions revolving around Kayle and Blade Master units do not require Vanguard units to operate effectively. As long as your frontline is strong enough for Kayle to deal damage, you can consider a spot in the top 4.

To operate this composition effectively, you need to survive through the early and mid-game phases. The advice from top players is to find and buy all the strongest units you see to maintain a stable health pool. If you can acquire strong items for Kayle, you can utilize Marksman champions to hold onto items in the early game. The best time to roll with this composition is when you reach level 8 as players will have a relatively high chance of upgrading Kayle to 2 stars.

Butcher – Warlord
With Nidalee being an extremely hot unit, compositions relying on Warlord Vanguard are currently facing fierce competition. This causes all players’ attention to be focused on Nidalee, and they forget that Warlord still has other very strong carries. Among those is Tryndamere, who has a tremendously powerful critical hit capability. Some players have found ways to utilize this champion with the Butcher – Warlord composition without needing Vanguard.

The operation of this composition involves using Warlord units in the early game to maintain health and secure win streaks. By the time players reach levels 7-8, they will transition to Butcher units like Tryndamere and Samira to increase damage output. You can sell unnecessary Warlord units at the end of the game to add strong units like Aatrox and Lee Sin to enhance crowd control for the composition.

Legend – Vanguard
If you are a fan of the Vanguard – Mystic – Ahri composition, getting acquainted with the Legend – Vanguard team will be extremely easy. This is because both compositions operate in the same way, focusing on having the frontline endure as long as possible to allow the backline carries to unleash their abilities. In season 4.5, Neeko will take on Ahri’s role as the Legend effect allows her to deal massive area magic damage.

Remember that for the Legend composition to operate effectively, you must have all three champions Nautilus, Neeko, Cho’Gath. Therefore, this composition does not require Legend Vanguard. As for the Vanguard units, reaching a threshold of 4 champions already makes these units very strong, so they also do not need to be in Vanguard form. This is considered a very suitable composition for matches where you cannot find a satisfactory Vanguard champion.
