VCS Young Star LazyFeel Establishes Historic Milestone in LCK with a “Huge” Record
Not long ago, the VCS community was extremely excited when news broke that LazyFeel and Chika would be the two Vietnamese players joining DRX Academy. But if anyone thought that one of these two players would make it to the LCK, that might be a bit far-fetched, especially considering that the LCK has never used foreign players in its over 11-year history since the tournament officially launched. Yet, young star LazyFeel has made history.

Accordingly, LazyFeel will be the first foreign player in the history of League of Legends and LCK to appear in an official match at the highest level of Korean League of Legends. Moreover, he achieved this remarkable feat in a very short time. Specifically, just yesterday, January 14th (Vietnam time), he debuted in the DRX Challengers jersey.

Thus, LazyFeel also becomes one of the fastest players to transition from the Challengers team to the main lineup in LCK history. Excluding players transferred directly from LCK, even superstars like Gumayusi and Oner were not promoted as quickly as he was.

VCS Community Thrilled with LazyFeel’s Incredible Achievement
On many forums, not only the LCK audience but especially the VCS community could not hide their excitement. This is because it is not any superstar from regions like LPL or LEC, but VCS that is providing the first foreign player to compete in the history of LCK.
“Honestly, I didn’t know he (LazyFeel) wasn’t Korean,” commented an international viewer. “This will be history for VCS and LCK,” a comment from a Korean netizen stated.

Notably, LazyFeel and DRX’s opponent will be OKSavingsBank BRION, led by “Sir” Morgan – a name very familiar to Vietnamese audiences. It goes without saying that this will likely be one of the most anticipated matches in the opening round of the LCK Cup 2025.
However, in a recent update, the LCK announced that the LCK Cup will not count towards the overall standings of the LCK, and LazyFeel may not be the first foreign player in the history of this tournament. Nevertheless, the prospects for the young VCS star are still wide open if he performs well when given the opportunity.
