When it comes to Faker’s “harem” in the industry, we have WeiWei – the stunning spokesperson of RNG, Sylchasie – the mid-laner of İstanbul Wildcats, Yuniko – the incredibly beautiful MC from the LMS region.

Speaking of KPOP Idols who are big fans of Faker, we have A-list star Lee Min-ho, national angel IU, Yura – Girls Day, Yoon Doo Joon (BEAST), Hee Chul – Super Junior, FT Island.

And if we talk about fans who are actors, singers, models… who admire Faker, it would take several thousand words to describe. Not to mention millions of fans from China, Korea, Vietnam, and fans from all over the world, it shows just how influential Faker really is.
Back to the article’s title, yesterday on July 29, Faker and 500 other players had an epic “collab” in ARAM mode. It wouldn’t be noteworthy if many fans didn’t recognize one of the accounts belonged to Kang Daniel – one of the most popular male KPOP idols today after winning the survival show Produce 101, and debuting under the group name Wanna One.

At the time of Faker’s livestream, many were quite skeptical about this, but shortly after, everything was confirmed. This was indeed Kang Daniel, and the 500 players were even in a Discord room together.

Kang Daniel has been playing League of Legends since Season 3 and is quite skilled. The highlight of the match was when Bard managed to “golden” all four members of the opposing team, setting the stage for an incredibly satisfying wombo combo right after. As soon as the Destiny Ability was used, Faker repeatedly shouted excitedly during the livestream, immediately rushing in with Leesin but… not getting any kills. “Oh oh oh oh, hey!!!!!!! Come here quickly, guys!!!” – Faker yelled before Bard’s perfectly executed play.
Besides this interesting collab, fans were also extremely shocked to see Faker use the Legendary Leesin skin in ARAM, with even Vietnamese fans panicking: “Who is this? Why is he playing on Faker’s account? My brother doesn’t use skins?”.

However, there was a reason behind everything. After selecting his champion and adjusting the runes and summoner spells, Faker thought he was still using the default skin and only realized at the last second. Chairman Faker, in a panic, tried to switch back to the default skin but only managed to exclaim, “Oh my god” before reluctantly breaking the rules and using the stunning Leesin Legendary skin that fans adore. Luckily, this was just an ARAM match; if it were anything else, it would have been a monumental event.

Faker played two ARAM matches with this “fun” team before separating to play ranked solo duo. According to the latest updates, Faker is currently ranked 87th in the Korean Challenger with 900 points. The first position has been taken by T1 Burdol – the 17-year-old rookie of T1. Burdol surpassed the account of DWG’s mid-laner Showmaker to secure this position. In the top 5 of the Korean rank, Showmaker has two accounts, with SofM and Canyon being the others. Surpassing such big names is truly admirable for Burdol.
