Although it is a card game like many other titles available in Vietnam, Legends of Runeterra has a very different gameplay style.
Build your own deck with a unique style, with strategic elements at a new “high level” – There is no strongest deck, only the most flexible gameplay:
As of now, with a diverse system of over 500 cards from 8 regions in the League of Legends lore, along with a card system divided into: champion cards, follower cards, and spell cards, Legends of Runeterra allows players to unleash their creativity, making each match a fresh experience. Additionally, with continuous updates for balance, the meta of Legends of Runeterra will always change, and the player’s flexible strategy will be the key factor to achieve victory.

Game Speed
In other card games, turns are symmetrical, meaning each player has one action per turn. When one player acts, the other cannot do anything to change the match’s outcome. In Legends of Runeterra, players can intervene during the opponent’s turn in certain situations, such as with spell cards.
Mana and Spell Mana
Like other strategic card games, matches start with one mana and accumulate mana each round.
The significant difference is that leftover mana can carry into the next turns. When a turn ends with unused mana, it transforms into spell mana. In the next turn, players can use that mana, but only for spells (not to summon allies).

A maximum of 3 spell mana can be used at once – any amount of mana above that cannot be carried over to the next turn. With spell mana, players can choose not to spend all their mana and save some for the next turn to use a stronger spell.
Flexibility in Combat Mechanics
In many other games of the same genre, only certain cards can block damage dealt to your champions, but in Runeterra, any card can block incoming damage.
During the defense phase, players can choose which card they want to use to block damage to the Nexus. Some cards have special defensive abilities and spells that benefit them while defending, so experimentation is needed to find the most effective strategies for your chosen deck.
Attacking works the same way; players choose which card they want to attack with against the defending player’s cards.
Spell Cards
Spell cards in Legends of Runeterra operate similarly to those in other games of the same genre, but the difference is that spells in Legends of Runeterra are also categorized by speed of use.

There are 3 types of spell cards in Legends of Runeterra:
● Slow: Can only be used when not in combat, and the opponent can counter it without any limitations.
● Fast: Can be used at any time, and can only be countered by Fast or Burst cards.
● Burst: Used immediately, Burst spells are the fastest in the game and cannot be countered.
