In game 1 of the match between Suning and Victory Five, a rare incident occurred when V5’s jungler – Pzx, entered the game without bringing the Smite summoner spell. His Viego used Flash and Teleport to face off against SN.
This move immediately became shocking news for LPL viewers, and of course, no one believed this was a “quirky” strategy from V5. It’s one thing for a jungler not to bring Flash, but missing Smite – an essential spell for that position – is simply unacceptable.
Many believe that Pzx likely forgot to set his summoner spells, but there are also plenty of negative theories suggesting this was a blatant act of “throwing the game”.

The consequences of forgetting to bring Smite became apparent shortly after, as V5 had no resistance whatsoever against SN. Facing SofM while also “giving” up Smite, the result was clear; they suffered a swift defeat in game 1 with a kill score of 1-15, not securing any major objectives.
For Pzx personally, this player undoubtedly experienced a disastrous game. Without Smite, his Viego struggled to complete the first jungle clear, and gradually became redundant in the match due to his slow power spike. Pzx only dealt 1,774 damage throughout the entire game, performing worse than the support Reheal and ON.

Later, although V5 made a strong comeback and equalized in game 2, they ultimately still faced defeat in the Bo3 matchup with a total score of 1-2.
Before the match, many opinions suggested that this was a very “difficult” confrontation for SN, as their tradition in recent seasons has often been to suffer shocking losses against underdog teams. However, with V5 making such a mistake, SN had no reason to let the victory slip from their hands any longer.
