VCS Star Speaks Candidly About Team Rotation
In the 2025 season, a formula that many teams are applying is player rotation. Accordingly, several teams after a series of defeats or inconsistent performance will look for ways to rotate players, promoting individuals from the Challengers team up and sending main roster players down. Although this method has yet to yield success, it indicates that teams are struggling to stabilize their rosters. Notably, one VCS team is also implementing this formula, specifically MVKE with the duo of AD Carry Shogun and Sty1e.

MVKE’s performance in the LCP 2025 Mid-Seasons so far has been merely acceptable. They have lost to a team from PCS (CBTC Flying Oyster) and nearly faced a setback against the bottom-ranked Chiefs Esports Club. In a recent interview, Sty1e shared his thoughts on MVKE’s team rotation, targeting his own position.
“The rotation does make things a bit challenging, but both Shogun and I have had enough practice time, and we will enter every match with the highest determination to secure victories for the team. So I think the rotation is varied and hasn’t affected us too much,” Sty1e stated.

In reality, both Sty1e and Shogun have performed quite well whenever given the opportunity. However, many believe that inconsistent performance is a common issue among players. Furthermore, the Mid Lane position of Kati is also problematic. This player has yet to show absolute stability—an essential factor at this stage when teams in PCS are nearly equal in strength, and any slip-up could be costly.
VCS Teams at LCP 2025 Mid-Seasons Are Facing Difficulties
Unlike the early season, currently, there isn’t a single VCS team that has truly broken out on the leaderboard or provided assurance to fans. Meanwhile, CFO continues to perform well while TALON is still managing the situation effectively.

If there are no breakthroughs, the chances of VCS missing out on MSI 2025 are quite high. Furthermore, the ticket to participate in Worlds 2025 could also be threatened if any team puts in the effort to explode at the end of the season.
