The finals of the VCS Winter 2021 have officially concluded with CERBERUS Esports taking home the victory. This marks the first championship in the team’s history, and their journey as the “Divine Hound” has been incredibly convincing. Throughout all their matches, they only lost once to Burst The Sky Esports in the second round of the group stage. Notably, CES defeated GAM Esports – their opponent in the finals – three times consecutively in the VCS Winter 2021.

CES’s well-deserved victory has, of course, received congratulations from the entire VCS community. The teams that suffered defeats at the hands of CES also sent their best wishes to the “Divine Hound.” Even the players from GAM – those who have been defeated not just once but three times in a single tournament – had to admit that CES’s victory was overwhelmingly convincing.

Among the countless congratulations sent to CES, the “king of penalties” Zeros was certainly not left out. The former SBTC Esports player immediately shared a post from earlier in the season when he, along with CES players like EGO, Pun…, went out for hotpot. In the clip back then, Zeros also guided the CES players significantly as they prepared to face GAM.
However, in reality, this clip was posted by Zeros after CES had already won against GAM. Fundamentally, all of Zeros’ assessments about GAM were almost entirely off base. Not to mention, Zeros advised CES to control both crabs, and the result: in game 1, EGO lost both crabs to Levi. Meanwhile, netizens also noticed that Zeros sent a series of messages, none of which EGO had seen.

Recently, after CES’s championship win, Zeros once again shared the post from that day along with a subtle reminder about the “hotpot bet” with CES players. However, some netizens believe that Zeros is “fame grabbing” from CES. Since the match against GAM in the first round until now, Zeros has posted almost nothing related to CES’s matches until now.

Nevertheless, CES has achieved a well-deserved victory through the talent and efforts of the entire team. The new VCS champions will have some time to rest before stepping into the new season with the responsibility of defending their championship. Surely, CES’s upcoming opponents will be even tougher, and they will have to work even harder to protect the first VCS championship in the team’s history.
