Valorant – The FPS masterpiece from Riot Games was just announced a little over a week ago and hasn’t even set a specific release date yet. However, T1 Entertainment & Sports – also known as T1, one of the most prestigious esports organizations in South Korea, is already gearing up to establish an esports team to pursue their dream of dominating the professional scene of this game.

Recently, the organization officially announced the successful signing of Braxton “Brax” Pierce – a young talent from the North American CS:GO scene, who will be the first piece of the professional Valorant team.

Brax, formerly known by the nickname Swag, was considered one of the most promising prodigies in the North American CS:GO scene. However, due to his involvement in a match-fixing scandal during the CEVO Professional League, he was permanently banned from Valve’s tournament system.

According to T1’s announcement, Brax will join the organization as a streamer and also as a player in the professional Valorant team when the game officially launches along with the commencement of professional tournaments.

T1 is not the first name to venture into this relatively new genre; previously, Team SoloMid had also posed a question to their fan community regarding the formation of a Valorant team, and it is expected that this organization will soon officially announce their plans as well.

Valorant is developed by Riot Games with a focus on strategic elements, teamwork, and a blend of individual skill with a cast of characters possessing unique abilities. Because of these factors, the game is anticipated to become a new phenomenon in the esports landscape, attracting numerous prestigious organizations to participate.
