While the matches at the World Championship 2022 are capturing the attention of the League of Legends community, one figure is also creating drama to draw the audience’s focus towards him. And no one else but Tyler1 – the famous streamer known for his gaming skills but also for his toxic attitude. The targets of Tyler1 this time are Chovy and other players from the LPL and LCK.

During his time in the U.S. for the 2022 World Championship, players often enter Champion Queue – a super server in North America where only players and a few special individuals can have accounts. In a ranked match, Tyler1 and Chovy faced each other but on opposite sides. Tyler1’s team also included Oner – the jungler from T1.

Chovy lost that ranked match to Tyler1’s team. However, the streamer, despite his victory, harshly criticized the Mid Laner of Gen.G Esports. Tyler1 stated: “He will never give up a minion wave. To the extent that he negatively impacts his team. For example, he might have won a fight. Will he die? Yes. But he could pull off a nice Shurima Shuffle (the name of Azir’s combo)”.

Tyler1 continued: “But he won’t do that. He won’t take risks even if his team is going to win. Just because if he gets killed, Chovy won’t be able to farm anymore”. Tyler also remarked that Chovy’s playstyle is very predictable.
Not only Chovy, Tyler1 also asserted that players from both LPL and LCK are “cheaters.” Known for being one of the most toxic streamers in the League of Legends community, this time Tyler1 has really gone too far. Previously, he had publicly criticized LCS players for their poor performance at the 2022 World Championship.

Currently, both Gen.G and Chovy have not made any statements regarding the incident. However, Chovy’s talent is undeniable, and one ranked match cannot overshadow this player’s abilities. As for Tyler1, with his negative remarks towards the players, Riot and the Twitch platform may soon take strong action against this streamer.
