For the League of Legends community in general, we are surely quite familiar with the famous content creator named Tyler1. This guy has been associated with League of Legends for nearly 10 years, boasting one of the largest viewership and subscriber counts in the world specifically for this game. There have even been times when the number of viewers watching Tyler1 play ranked surpassed that of the LCS tournament organized by Riot Games.

One of the things that has helped Tyler1 become famous is his straightforward personality, daring to point out the shortcomings of League of Legends live on stream. In a recent broadcast, Tyler1 expressed his immense disappointment with Riot for releasing patch 12.14 (which he considers to be terrible). Tyler1 even asserted that he would fly to Riot’s headquarters to throw a celebration on the day the League of Legends balance team is fired.

Tyler1: “Hey guys, if one day I hear that Riot Games fires the entire League of Legends balance team, I will throw a celebration right away. I will book a ticket to their headquarters, hire a bunch of flags, banners, and cheer while the balance team leaves the Riot headquarters because they deserve it. I don’t care about anything else, I’ve been waiting for that moment my whole life.”
The biggest reason behind Tyler1’s harsh words is that he believes the balance team is trying to “cover up” the severe issues of League of Legends. Specifically, with patch 12.14, they released a series of adjustments and claimed that certain champions suddenly became too strong due to the tank updates about a month ago.

However, Tyler1 straightforwardly points out that all the champions currently deemed too strong had major issues even before the tank updates. For example, Yuumi’s gameplay has always been something that shouldn’t exist in League of Legends, and it has been there since this champion’s release. The tank updates only made the issues more apparent and serious.

Although Tyler1’s words may seem harsh, they highlight that Riot Games is facing too many issues in balancing League of Legends. Of course, achieving an ideal balance is nearly impossible, but allowing League of Legends to have too many “game-breaking” elements as it currently does is truly unacceptable, and they need to improve immediately.
