There are reports that VKE will part ways with Kati during the end-of-season transfer window for 2024
According to a specialized site that regularly posts transfer rumors for VCS, it is possible that Vikings Esports will also bid farewell to Kati in the near future. The mid-laner, born in 1999, joined VKE at the beginning of 2024 and has participated with this team in 2 VCS finals as well as the recent Worlds.

According to information from the above site, VKE may replace Kati with Chika. This young player is one of the two Vietnamese members of DRX Academy. However, while LazyFeel still has a place and even got promoted to Challengers, Chika must return to VCS to seek opportunities.
According to information from Lol.fandom, Kati’s contract with VKE will last until the end of 2025. However, it is not excluded that VKE will end the contract early with this player. But the effectiveness of Chika still remains to be seen.

Moreover, no matter Kati’s mindset, he is not inferior to anyone in VCS. The underwhelming performance of VKE against GAM in VCS and subsequent matches at Worlds is the responsibility of the entire team, not just Kati alone.
LPL is also buzzing with rapid transfer deals
As the transfer window is nearing its end, LPL has swiftly “finalized” its roster for the 2025 season. In a recent development, Tian has joined WBG to complete this team’s “5 Central” lineup. Meanwhile, the “super team” IG is gradually taking shape. Notably, TES announced Tian as a free agent just minutes before WBG confirmed his signing.

At this point, it is hard to predict anything about these transfer deals. But it can be said for sure that the 2025 season will bring many changes, and the League of Legends community can expect more surprises as the transfer window still has some time left to conclude.
