Twitch
To put it bluntly, Twitch is one of the most unbalanced units in Teamfight Tactics. Even the project lead for “auto chess,” Riot Mortdog, has been frustrated by Twitch, which shows just how overpowered this unit is. The fact that he is both an Assassin, can attack from range, and has a skill that interacts perfectly with Infinity Edge is enough to prove that Twitch is an overly strong champion that Riot should not have created.

As a result, since players discovered Twitch’s true power, this unit has been continuously nerfed in terms of damage output and energy usage. After a long period of careful attention from Riot, Twitch has finally lost his dominance and returned to the appropriate value of a 1-cost unit. Perhaps if Riot had been a bit gentler with the nerfs, this unit would still be dominating the meta.
Talon
From the very beginning, when he was still a Champion of the Empire, Talon has been a strong unit in the Assassin lineup. As a result, this unit has been nerfed quite a few times before Season 6.5 appeared, and even after the mid-season update, Talon continued to receive adjustments. Specifically, in the last 3-4 patches, Talon has consistently seen reductions in skill damage, health, and base armor/magic resistance. Even the VIP effect of the Elegant trait on Talon has undergone a power reduction.

Nonetheless, Talon remains a very strong champion in the Assassin lineup and can “carry the team” exceptionally well. If you remember how annoying Twitch was as a long-range Assassin, Talon can replicate that with just the right item, Rapid Firecannon. Combined with strong tanks (Leona) and champions that can disrupt the enemy team effectively (Blitzcrank, Syndra), Talon is always given the best conditions to deal maximum damage.
Irelia
Speaking of Irelia’s strength, we can simply understand that before Season 6.5, Idol teams needed to revolve around 5-cost champions to effectively “carry the team.” However, with the arrival of Irelia, simply standing in the Idol position with just 3 champions allows this unit to “do it all.” Clearly, the fact that a 4-cost champion possesses power comparable to a costly 5-cost unit is unreasonable, which is why Irelia has been continuously nerfed since her return.

Specifically, when she first returned, Irelia’s basic attack damage was 90 at 1-star level, but now it has dropped to just 70. Following that, stats such as attack speed, skill damage, and energy usage have all been nerfed in recent patches. As a result, from the position of a super carry, Irelia now only possesses relatively stable power for a 4-cost champion and is no longer as dominant as before.
