Galio
If we had to choose the strongest tank unit at the TFT Worlds Season 6 tournament, Galio would be the first name that comes to mind. In fact, in all team compositions that achieved top 1 and top 2 on the finals day, Galio was present and played an incredibly important role. The innate crowd control immunity of the Giant system allows Galio to always cast his Heroic Entrance, dealing significant damage and knocking up opponents.

The fact that Galio is so popular in this major tournament of Season 6 is largely due to Riot’s continuous buffs to this unit. First, Galio’s base health was increased by 100 points in patch 12.5b, followed by a series of buffs aimed at his Heroic Entrance skill, increasing knock-up duration and damage scaling with health. As a result, Galio has become a true tank with incredible durability while also dealing substantial area damage.
Jinx
Although not highly rated for direct damage output, Jinx’s versatility has made this unit incredibly popular at TFT Worlds Season 6. Essentially, Jinx’s skill, when successfully used, applies the Grievous Wounds effect to all enemies hit. It is like a significantly upgraded version of Morellonomicon, not dealing massive damage but compensating for it with other carry champions.

Furthermore, this champion is not picky about items and can effectively use almost any leftover items players have after changing their team compositions, which is crucial for a 5-cost champion. If you have synergy items like Rageblade, Infinity Edge, or Zeke’s Herald, this unit can utilize them well. Even when equipped with damage items like Infinity Edge or Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Jinx can still become a solid carry.
Jayce
Simply put, Jayce is an all-around character to the point of being “overpowered” and can fit into any type of team composition. In Hammer form, Jayce is an incredibly reliable tank, supporting teammates by reducing the armor/magic resistance of opponents with his skills. Meanwhile, in Cannon form, Jayce becomes an extraordinarily powerful carry capable of dealing massive area damage with his abilities cast at a rapid pace.

As a result, no matter what team composition you play, Jayce is always a strong choice in the late game. Clearly, with the high-level “card-switching” ability of players at TFT Worlds Season 6, Jayce is always a top choice to purchase during rerolls. Suitable for all items, all positions, all team compositions, and excelling at every task assigned, Jayce is like a combination of Jinx and Galio.
