Zeros returns with a different image, but what’s the truth?
About a month ago, former SBTC Esports player – Pham “Zeros” Minh Loc was prosecuted and temporarily detained for gambling under Clause 2, Article 321 of the Penal Code, according to a statement from the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Procuracy. However, recently, his verified personal account became active again, showcasing Zeros in military uniform.

The photo immediately caused a stir in the Vietnamese League of Legends community. Under the post, numerous notable figures and League of Legends fans congratulated Zeros. However, the reality may not be as straightforward as what the former SE star posted.
Firstly, with being prosecuted and temporarily detained as reported by the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Procuracy, Zeros falls under the category of being exempt from military service, according to Article 13 of the 2015 Military Service Law. Moreover, many attentive fans can clearly see that Zeros’ appearance has not changed at all in the photo. Typically, when serving in the military, recruits must follow regulations regarding hairstyle and jewelry. This factor is what raises the most suspicion among many.

Additionally, under the provisions of Article 6 of Circular No. 07/2016/TT-BQP dated January 26, 2016, from the Minister of National Defense, upon enlisting, one will hold the rank of Private and have military insignia. This aspect is also missing in the photo of the player who was previously issued a Global Ban by Riot for inappropriate behavior.
No one knows Zeros’ true intentions
On many forums, the image of the former SE star quickly attracted a lot of attention. Besides presenting arguments to prove the authenticity of the photo, many also questioned why he would post a somewhat sensitive image related to Vietnamese law.
However, regardless of the purpose, Zeros still proves his charm, and perhaps the community can only wait for a while to see the further developments of this incident.
