When it comes to the notorious “tycoons” of rent-a-farming in League of Legends, Trâu Best Udyr, now known as Trâu TV, is undoubtedly a name everyone knows. He gained fame for owning a rent-a-farming website and has frequently responded to Garena’s actions and penalties.
However, recently, this guy made a surprising move by posting a letter announcing that he no longer engages in rent-a-farming and that he has officially “reformed,” no longer involved in this illegal activity. Through this, Trâu also hopes that Garena and the gaming community will overlook his past, which he admits was “not very good” and “unfortunate.”

In fact, for the past two years, Trâu has almost completely stopped all rent-a-farming activities and focused mainly on streaming. With the rise of PUBG before and now Teamfight Tactics, Trâu TV has become a “skill channel” that attracts a lot of viewers, especially during Teamfight Tactics streams.
Additionally, recently, he has frequently played games with commentator Đức Mạnh – who is also involved with Garena. It seems this is evidence that the relationship between Trâu and the League of Legends publisher in Vietnam has shown signs of mending.

If you didn’t know, in the past, Trâu was banned from participating in any activities related to League of Legends due to rent-a-farming behavior. In fact, during a third-party League of Legends event held in 2016, Trâu was invited to attend but ultimately was sent home by a Garena representative.
It can be said that the past of rent-a-farming has haunted Trâu for a long time. His fans are somewhat more understanding, as everyone knows Trâu’s difficult circumstances before entering the rent-a-farming profession.

However, for Garena and many other gamers, regardless of the reason, the act of rent-a-farming and organizing rent-a-farming still violates the rules and seriously affects the community’s experience. Therefore, for a long time, Trâu has become the “villain” in the eyes of a large section of League of Legends fans in Vietnam.
After many years, Trâu TV’s fanpage and media channels have gradually become “cleaner,” no longer announcing rent-a-farming services but focusing entirely on streaming. Naturally gifted in the profession with a flair for “blame-throwing” and possessing top-level gaming skills and mindset, Trâu quickly regained the goodwill of the gaming community.

However, with such a clear announcement, it seems the goal he aims for is still to hope that Garena will lift the “sanctions” and that League of Legends fans will overlook the past. Could it be that he hopes to participate in the official League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics events organized by Garena, something he has likely dreamed of for a long time but missed due to financial burdens?
