A few days ago, Riot Games published a post revealing the Development Roadmap and shared many important details. Specifically, the two new champions for League of Legends (LoL) will be Naafiri and Briar. Meanwhile, the Mage from Ionia has yet to have their identity revealed. Additionally, Riot also teased a new look for Jax, and the Skarner rework will continue to be delayed.
Not stopping there, at the end of the post, Riot Games revealed that they are developing a new Marksman champion. Although there are no images of this character yet, Riot hinted that the new Marksman will be an incredibly cute creature. It’s possible that the League of Legends development team is in the early design phase for this character.
Right after this information was shared, League of Legends players came up with interesting theories about the new Marksman. Over the past few years, the cutest creature that Riot has released is Yuumi. Therefore, players believe that the new Marksman will be a cat similar to Yuumi but will wield weapons to attack opponents.
However, upon closer inspection, League of Legends players will see that the new Marksman may not be a cat. Essentially, Riot Games used the term “breaking out of the shell” (which can also mean “sketching”) to describe this character. Therefore, this Marksman might be a baby dragon or a similar creature.
Of course, the information mentioned above is still merely hypothetical. Riot Games itself has also shared that this character is still in the initial design process. To learn more about this adorable Marksman, League of Legends players might need to wait quite a long time.
