Xayah
Unlike her husband Rakan, Xayah is currently experiencing a cold shoulder from players as she ranks at the bottom of the champion power rankings in Teamfight Tactics. The primary reason for this neglect is that Riot Games has nerfed the hyper-roll playstyle in various ways, significantly weakening it. As the overall team composition weakens, it’s understandable that the team’s carry, Xayah, is also left behind.

Even in a 6 Blademaster composition, Xayah sees very little use due to the absence of Kassadin following the mid-season update. With Kassadin in the lineup, you not only have a strong unit but also activate the Celestial trait with Xayah and the Sorcerer trait with Irelia. With this unit gone, Xayah’s value has significantly decreased. Therefore, even with Riot buffing her in patch 10.14, Xayah remains overlooked.
Nautilus
Right after the mid-season update, Nautilus shone brightly and became the strongest Vanguard unit with excellent crowd control, playing a crucial role in helping the Marksman – Astronaut team dominate a few weeks ago. However, as this composition was dethroned by stronger alternatives, Nautilus gradually faded into obscurity.

Thus, in patch 10.14, Riot Games made no changes to this unit, and Nautilus continues to plummet in the champion strength rankings. Perhaps the high energy cost (120 energy for a 2-cost unit) has made Nautilus less viable at the moment, along with the Marksman – Astronaut team being replaced by the Shadow team, leading to this unit being less favored.
Yasuo
It’s unfortunate that our “God” falls into this list, as Yasuo, despite being buffed, remains just a piece for activating traits rather than rising to become a carry. The reason Yasuo has weakened is due to the severe nerf to the hyper-roll playstyle, and the addition of more 2-cost units dilutes the champion pool, resulting in a significant reduction in Yasuo’s appearance rate. This makes a unit like Yasuo, which relies on reaching 3 stars, much less effective.

Perhaps this is Riot Games’ intent, as 1-2 cost champions are only meant to provide trait effects or crowd control, while true carries must be higher-cost champions. If Yasuo were to become too easy to obtain or too powerful, everyone would hyper-roll for the “God,” turning the game into nothing more than a “luck-based game.”
