“In that tryout, contestants had to form teams and face off against each other. But even if the team selection was random, Faker was still outstanding. Even with four ‘subpar’ teammates, he could carry them and secure an impressive victory. Thus, there was an ‘unwritten rule’ that teams facing Faker received bonus points because if the opposing team had Faker, it was an automatic loss. That’s why everyone wanted to face Faker; whether they won or lost, they would still earn points.”
