On the afternoon of June 1st (Vietnam time), the LPL community in particular and the audiences regularly following the Chinese League of Legends tournament were incredibly surprised when Royal Never Give Up announced the departure of Bin and the recruitment of Breathe. Conversely, the reigning MSI 2022 champion Bin will join Bilibili Gaming – Breathe’s former team. Notably, Bin leaves after just one Spring split with RNG, including MSI 2022. Breathe himself has only recently joined BLG after the last offseason transfer period of the 2021 season.

This player swap transfer has genuinely caught many LPL viewers and RNG fans off guard. As the Summer 2022 season approaches, both Breathe and Bin must quickly adapt to their new teams. Additionally, there are numerous rumors that this deal was “arranged” since the last offseason transfer period of the 2021 season. However, in the latest developments, RNG’s management has denied all related “conspiracy theories” and affirmed that this transfer is completely normal.

During the last offseason transfer period of the 2021 season, Bin was one of the most talked-about names. This was because he left to make way for TheShy to join Weibo Gaming. Bin’s destination was RNG – a team considered the pride of Chinese League of Legends. Therefore, the pressure on Bin was immense. Not to mention, at RNG, he was certainly not the focal point of the gameplay; that position belonged to Xiaohu and GALA.

Although Bin did have some inconsistent moments during the last season, and even at MSI 2022 he only played at a decent level, it cannot be denied that the former WBG star played a crucial role in RNG’s achievements. Ahead of Bin, Breathe, and the two teams RNG and BLG is the Summer 2022 season and further ahead, the 2022 World Championship. All need to perform well, especially Breathe as he is now playing for the most anticipated team in the LPL.
