If you have been with League of Legends (LoL) for a long time, most players must feel a certain monotony. The reason comes from the fact that we are constantly using a few maps, lacking creativity. Even though the publisher Riot Games has added different modes based on old maps, the LoL community still feels unsatisfied. Currently, Summoner’s Rift and Howling Abyss are the two maps that are most focused on.

Previously, League of Legends also had a map called: Twisted Treeline. This map favored the 3vs3 mode, offering a rather fun gameplay style without a heavy competitive element. However, this mode has been removed. Twisted Treeline now only exists in the memories of players. Recently, a guy has come up with a unique idea, creating a completely different mode inspired by Summoner’s Rift combined with Twisted Treeline. Immediately, the post generated a buzz on the world’s largest LoL forum.

Specifically, he created a map with 2 lanes, removing the mid lane to expand the jungle area. Each jungle area will have 13 camps, 1 Scuttle Crab, and 2 buffs. He even added 2 buffs in the middle of the map, increasing the competitive potential from both teams, raising the total number of buffs to 6. Major objectives to contest include: Dragon, Baron Nashor, and The Watcher.

He explained: “I removed the mid lane to increase space for the jungle area. Each team will have 2 laners, 2 junglers, and 1 support focused on vision control. I tried my best to retain the characteristics of the Summoner Rift map by adding terrain and river areas.
The locations of Dragon and Baron will be swapped for added excitement. Do you see the icon in the middle of the map? That’s the location of The Watcher – this unit is very difficult to defeat, aimed at ending the game, and has much greater power than Dragon and Baron. After defeating it, players will receive a buff for 210 seconds as shown below:

– Instantly resurrect when defeated in battle. The kill effect will not activate resurrection.
– Gain true sight of enemy champions until the effect expires.
– Receive an aura that slows nearby enemies by 15%.
– Fear adjacent enemies for 2 seconds upon being defeated.
Of course, if any buff is too strong, they will be balanced to be more appropriate. I hope you will like this idea.”

Looking over the map and gameplay rules, the LoL community worldwide is very excited. They believe this mode is fantastic, combining the fun of Twisted Treeline with the competitiveness of Summoner’s Rift. Therefore, everyone highly appreciates the intellect of the guy who created this idea. Hopefully, the publisher Riot Games will catch this information, while sharing and collaborating to further develop League of Legends stronger than ever.
