The current meta of Teamfight Tactics: Galactic Infinite can be summed up in the phrase “Super Robot Battle Time.” The Pilot and Time factions appear in most of the strongest compositions in the current meta, proving to be overwhelmingly powerful. The reason is quite understandable; the Pilot faction has impressed players since Season 3 before its launch, and the ability to assemble into a Super Robot is so special that everyone wants to try playing it and discovers its immense strength.

Meanwhile, the Time faction is seen as the only composition that can counter the power of the aforementioned Super Robot compositions with comparable damage. Moreover, the Time faction is easy to play and can pivot to many different compositions, making it highly valued by players. Below are the 4 strongest compositions in the current meta for players to refer to:

Brawler – Gunner
If you have played through Season 1, you might recognize the similarity of this composition to the Brawler – Jinx team from before. Essentially, your damage still primarily comes from the Rebel Cannon Girl, as Jinx is no different from Season 1, if not stronger with the new area damage effect. Although there are fewer Brawlers, their role remains the same, tanking and controlling opponents so Jinx can unleash her firepower and take out the enemy team.

The difference here is that the Gunners in Season 3 are extremely strong and do not depend on Jinx anymore; players can play Lucian and Ezreal for a long time without fearing a lack of damage. Moreover, with less starting gold, players hyper-roll less, so games often drag to the late game, levels 8-9, meaning you don’t have to worry about expensive units like Jinx or Miss Fortune being hard to upgrade.

Time – Marksman
The principle of this composition works very simply; you will buff attack speed the most for the 3 main Marksmen of the team, which are Caitlyn, Ashe, and Jhin, to deal damage. One interesting feature of the Time units is that they all bring some form of crowd control or survivability to your team, with top units like Shen and Wukong being able to survive for a very long time, while Ezreal has an incredibly useful skill that deals significant damage and increases energy used on a large scale.

Ultimately, the trio of Marksmen will be where most of your team’s damage comes from, with Caitlyn, Ashe, and Jhin. As long as they maintain distance and unleash their damage, these units can quickly obliterate the entire enemy team. A very useful tip when using this composition is to equip Ashe with items that increase AP; her Frost Archer has incredibly powerful damage.

Pilot – Assassin
This composition is truly a nightmare for opponents who lack crowd control, as you will find it very difficult to deal enough damage to quickly eliminate the Super Robot. Moreover, the gigantic unit attracts damage from your team, allowing Assassins like Shaco and Kai’Sa to deal damage safely to your backline.

The key point when using this composition is to equip the Super Robot, usually held by Fizz. The two most important items are Guardian Angel and Lightning Bow; the resurrection ability is incredibly strong on the Super Robot because you face a unit that is both strong and hard to kill twice. The Lightning Bow not only deals damage but also reduces magic resistance, greatly amplifying your composition’s damage.

Pilot – Sorcerer
Essentially, this composition operates similarly to the Assassin version, with the Super Robot acting as a damage tank and absorbing damage for the main damage dealers. The difference is that the spell damage from Sorcerers will bring down the opponent’s frontline faster than Assassins.

Besides survivability, every time the Super Robot uses its skill, it deals significant damage and can become even stronger if you obtain 6 Sorcerers. With an additional 80% skill damage, one “sword stab” from the Super Robot can wipe out half of the enemy team. The final difference is in the unit holding the items; when playing Sorcerers, Annie is the preferred character to equip items instead of Fizz.
