The League of Legends version 12.20 has been live on the Vietnam server for 3 days. In 12.20, players do not feel many changes from Riot Games as the publisher has only adjusted a few minor elements. This article will help gamers choose the 10 strongest champions to climb ranks quickly at the moment.

1. Top Lane

The most stable champion in the top lane is Shen. The Eye of Twilight has a win rate of up to 53.6%, the highest among popular champions in this lane. With an easy-to-play style, Shen can shine in all ranking tiers.

Shen possesses strong mid-game traits, not overly remarkable during the laning phase and team fights. Around minutes 15-30, Shen has a certain degree of tankiness while being able to deal significant damage to opponents. Additionally, he can support teammates from afar, suitable for players who may not be quick with their hands but have good game sense.

Camille is the second name on this list. She belongs to the carry team category with a powerful split-pushing style and can operate well without relying too much on teammates. Therefore, Camille is favored by many players worldwide.

Camille needs to maximize resources; players must have a slightly selfish mindset to fully unleash her power. When teammates engage in fights, players need to decide between split-pushing or joining them. Camille’s best playstyle is to split-push a lane, then control the enemy jungle, attacking straggling targets. Currently, the Steel Shadow has a win rate of 52.2% and is recommended for the top lane role.

2. Jungle

Riot Games did not change much in the jungle area in version 12.20. The champion with the best stats in the jungle role is Fiddlesticks with a 53.5% win rate, suitable for all rank tiers. Fiddlesticks is quite weak at the beginning of the game and starts to gain strength with a few key items. After that, players look for angles to use the ultimate to hit as many enemy champions as possible to optimize the power of the Harbinger of Death. The prerequisites for players to perform well with Fiddlesticks include: learning how to farm multiple jungle camps and controlling the map tightly.

As Master Yi and Rek’Sai were nerfed, Bel’Veth became one of the top champions in the jungle with a physical damage focus. This champion has many advantages like abundant damage sources, the ability to impose gameplay, and strong snowballing potential. Therefore, players need to play correctly according to Bel’Veth’s style to unleash the power of the Void Queen. Specifically, players need to optimize during the early game, then aim for the golden period from minutes 15-35 of the match and finish the game within this timeframe. Currently, Bel’Veth has a win rate of 52.1% and is recommended as the best jungler in version 12.20.

3. Mid Lane

The mid lane in version 12.20 sees the return of two assassins, Zed and Fizz. Zed is particularly favored by players in the Vietnam server due to his engaging playstyle. He has a stable laning phase and starts to shine once the player obtains a key item. With strong burst damage and pick-off potential, Zed becomes a terror in solo rank with a 52.8% win rate. To counter the Shadow Assassin, players need to have defensive items once the game has dragged on. Most ranked matches end in the mid-game, which is why Zed is strong in the ranking environment.

Recently, Fizz has received buffs from Riot Games. Just one round of buffs has significantly increased this champion’s win rate, making him deserving of a spot among the top mid lane champions. Like Zed, Fizz is strong in burst damage, creating spectacular moments that send opponents to the death screen in the blink of an eye. The Playful Trickster has an exciting playstyle, with a clear-paced skill set requiring players to time their cooldowns carefully. Therefore, Fizz demands high precision from players worldwide. Currently, Fizz has a win rate of 52.5%, making him a worthy choice for gamers to use in solo rank.

4. AD Carry

The strongest AD carry in version 12.20 is still Tristana. She possesses a very versatile and stable champion quality, strong in both sustained and burst damage. Besides a slight weakness at the beginning of the game, Tristana shines in the later stages, particularly strongest when equipped with 2-4 key items. Tristana at six items is not as strong as earlier in the game but can still perform well in positioning and dealing damage to opponents. After Riot Games buffed her, other AD carries have become weaker, with Tristana topping the charts with a win rate of up to 52.9%.

The next AD carry on the list of strong champions is Miss Fortune. She has changed her playstyle towards critical hits and found a clear place in ranked solo matches. Miss Fortune boasts strong sustained and burst damage, high mobility, and stability in fights. Her biggest weakness lies in her attack range, as the Bounty Hunter can be easily attacked by enemy AD carries with longer ranges. Currently, Miss Fortune has a win rate of up to 52.4%.

5. Support

The most annoying support in version 12.20 remains Blitzcrank. Although Riot Games nerfed the Steam Golem in the support role, this champion is still very powerful. The reason for Blitzcrank’s success stems from Riot buffing the W skill to deal additional damage based on the target’s bonus health. This allows the Steam Golem to deal a significant amount of damage when hooking enemies in the support role. Just a simple change, but Blitzcrank achieves nearly a 53.9% win rate despite being nerfed by Riot Games.

Zyra is rising in the support role recently and thriving in this version 12.20. Zyra is strong in poke damage, dealing damage and crowd control effects, countering defensive support champions but is wary of aggressive support champions. However, aggressive support champions are losing their position in the solo rank arena, making this a time for Zyra to rise. The Primal Surge has very strong damage, even rivaling that of carries, so she needs to maintain her positioning well to cast spells effectively. Currently, Zyra has a win rate of 52.5%, rated highly in the support role.
