The Meta of TFT Season 13 Supports Violet’s Rise
After TFT Season 13 landed on the official servers (especially following patch 14.23b), the game’s meta is shifting towards a “Fast 8” playstyle with extremely strong 4-cost carries. This allows 1-cost champion “Hyper roll” strategies to rise as they can capitalize on opponents hoarding resources to snowball the game. A prime example is the Violet – Iron Fist Fighter composition with its ability to deal true damage and excel in skirmishes.

Furthermore, in the recent patch 14.23b, Violet received significant buffs to its base damage and maximum energy. This allows Violet to deal much more effective damage in the early and mid-game. Coupled with the Family trait buffing damage reduction, Violet becomes even more resilient and can survive enemy burst damage when equipped with Fighter-type items.
Building the Violet – Iron Fist Fighter Composition in TFT Season 13
In rounds against monsters, if Violet, Darius, and Draven appear frequently, players should consider building this composition. Additionally, Powder and Vander are also units worth purchasing to activate the 3 Family trait when players reach level 5. Moreover, Vander and Darius are very strong frontline units at this stage and will ensure the survival of the entire composition.

Similar to other 1-cost reroll compositions, players will not purchase experience in the early game. Instead, players will focus on rerolling at levels 4-5 to upgrade Violet, Draven, and potentially Darius to 3 stars. Afterwards, players will begin purchasing experience again and add units like Gangplank and Urgot mid-game to activate the 4 Iron Fist Fighters trait.

In the late game, players will have numerous options to enhance their composition with 4-5 cost champions. Ekko is a valuable addition if players have too many magic items combined for Powder. Additionally, Sevika or Vi are also strong units at this stage if players obtain the Iron Fist Fighter emblem and activate the 6 champion threshold at level 8.

Some Tips for Building the Composition
For Violet’s items, players should aim for Fighter items such as Bloodthirster, Sterak’s Claw, and Giant Slayer. Meanwhile, Draven will utilize items from the Wooden Bow such as Guinsoo’s Rageblade and Blue Bow. Additionally, strong support augments for the reroll playstyle like Jackpot and Pandora’s Bench are also excellent choices to help players upgrade their carries to 3 stars quickly.
