Nocturne Rises Strongly in Patch 14.24 of TFT Season 13
In the newly released patch 14.24 of TFT Season 13, the Automaton trait has received significant attention from Riot with many beneficial adjustments. Notably, at the 4 champion threshold, both defensive stats and damage from the Automaton effect have been significantly increased. Moreover, the main carry Nocturne has been granted a boost in base attack speed, making this champion’s damage output incredibly powerful when fully equipped.

As a result, Nocturne is proving to be exceptionally powerful in patch 14.24 with massive damage output while still being quite resilient due to its not-so-low defensive stats. Furthermore, high-speed champions like Akali, Twisted Fate, and Ambessa also possess considerable damage potential. Therefore, the strength of this composition is not limited in the mid-game like the typical 2-cost reroll strategy, allowing players to still dominate opponents in the late game thanks to the strong champion quality of Ambessa.
Building the Nocturne “Crusher” Composition in TFT Season 13
One sign that players should aim for this composition is to acquire Nocturne and Amumu early on. After that, players can add Darius and Draven to the lineup to activate important traits like Conqueror and Vigilance. These champions have solid skills and stats in the early game, helping players maintain health extremely well while conserving resources to reroll Nocturne in the later stages.

In the mid-game, players should aim to achieve the 4 Automaton threshold to enhance Nocturne’s sturdiness. Moreover, this will also help champions like Blitzcrank and Amumu tank better without needing to activate the System Control and Vigilance traits. Akali is also a reasonable addition at this stage to reach the 2 high-speed threshold, enabling Nocturne to deal damage more effectively.

After successfully upgrading Nocturne to 3 stars, players need to quickly level up to level 8 as fast as possible. The reason is to increase the chances of acquiring Ambessa and reaching the very strong 4 high-speed threshold in the late game. Additionally, sturdy units like Rell and Lloris are also reasonable additions as they give Nocturne more time to take down opponents. In cases where players reach level 9, Malzahar will be a very strong choice to supplement damage.

Some Tips When Building the Composition
With its melee champion nature, the main carry Nocturne greatly needs a Quicksilver to avoid being continuously controlled. The other two items should be Bloodthirster and Infinity Edge to increase this champion’s resilience. If players have a Rapid Firecannon or Scope Gun, they can place Nocturne at the backline and use this unit as a ranged carry. Regarding the Augment, upgrades that help players save gold when rerolling such as Starry Night, Prize Ticket… are very suitable for this composition. Additionally, the upgrade Thrill of the Hunt also helps Nocturne sweep through the opponent’s composition effectively, and players should aim to acquire it.
